Adelaide secured Hannah Ewings through a trade with Port Adelaide at the end of the 2024 season. The strong-bodied on-baller played 18 AFLW games across two seasons for the Power after being selected with pick No.3 in the 2022 AFLW Draft. She won the AFLW Rising Star and Port Adelaide’s best and fairest in her debut season before taking the 2024 AFLW season away from the game while on personal leave. Ewings had a strong affiliation with the Crows, having been a member of the Club’s Academies in her junior years. She was mentored by former Captain Chelsea Randall and played in a SANFLW premiership alongside three-time Club Champion Anne Hatchard at North Adelaide. The talented midfielder made her Adelaide debut in Round One of the 2025 AFLW season and went on to play three games in her first year at the Club.
