Adelaide secured Hannah Ewings through a trade with Port Adelaide at the end of the 2024 season. The strong-bodied on-baller played 18 AFLW games across two seasons for the Power after being selected with pick No.3 in the 2022 AFLW Draft. She won the AFLW Rising Star and Port Adelaide’s best and fairest in her debut season but did not feature at AFLW level this year while on personal leave. Ewings has a strong affiliation with the Crows having been a member of the Club’s Bridgestone Crows Academies in her junior years. She was mentored by former Captain Chelsea Randall and played in a SANFLW premiership alongside three-time Club Champion Anne Hatchard at North Adelaide.
