Adelaide secured the attacking defender ahead of the 2023 AFLW season through a trade with Port Adelaide. Goodwin was originally selected with Pick No.7 at the 2022 AFLW Draft and showed flashes of her speed and footy smarts in her five games in Season Seven. A product of the Crows Next Generation Academy, the savvy contested ball-winner came from Glenelg in the SANFLW and was a vital player in the Tigers’ 2021 premiership. Goodwin played every game for the Crows in 2023 and 2024, including in Adelaide’s finals appearances. She was named in the AFLPA AFLW 22Under22 in 2024.
