The Adelaide Football Club offers also offers talent identification pathways including Be a Pro, the Second-Generation program for past players’ children, and the Elite Talent program, designed to support draft‑aged players as they prepare for the next level.
See below for information on each pathway.
Be a Pro (male and female)
The Crows Academies’ Be a Pro program is designed to identify and develop talented male and female footballers in the under-14 age group.
Working closely with the Crows’ four aligned SANFL clubs, Be a Pro builds on what players are already learning at their local clubs.
The program gives them extra support from an AFL club, with a focus on improving skills and helping them grow on-and-off the field.

Second Generation program
The Second Generation program brings together the sons and daughters of past Crows players, giving them the chance to stay connected to the Club while developing their skills.
It offers a unique experience that recognises the contribution of former players and helps their children build their own connection to the Crows, both on and off the field.

Elite Talent program (NGA)
The Elite Talent program supports draft-age male and female players from second generation, First Nations and multicultural backgrounds.
Players are linked with the Crows’ four aligned SANFL clubs and take part in regular training opportunities at the Adelaide Football Club.
Some may also be invited to train alongside the AFL and AFLW squads, giving them a firsthand look at the next level of the game.

See below for information on Crows Academies' draftees.
