Senior Adelaide defender Brodie Smith will return to the side to face North Melbourne at Adelaide Oval on Sunday.

The 29-year-old missed the Round 22 clash with Melbourne under the AFL’s Concussion Protocol but has been named to play in the Crows’ final match of 2021.

Forward-turned-defender Billy Frampton has also been selected after Jake Kelly was confirmed to have suffered a delayed concussion against the Demons.

As announced earlier on Thursday, young forward Lachlan Gollant will make his AFL debut.

Gollant has enjoyed strong form in the SANFL - kicking seven goals in his last two matches - and will play his first game of senior football.

Veteran duo Tom Lynch and David Mackay will play their final games for Adelaide after a combined 25 years at West Lakes.

Daniel Talia was unavailable for selection due to injury but will attend the match to bid farewell to the Crows faithful.

Elliott Himmelberg was also confirmed out after suffering a hamstring injury against Melbourne on Sunday.

Lachlan Sholl, who served as the medical sub for Himmelberg in Round 22, has been named on the extended interchange along with Josh Worrell and James Rowe.

Adelaide’s final 22 will be confirmed on Friday afternoon.

Sunday’s match gets underway at 4.10pm and will be televised live on Fox Footy.
