Brodie Smith’s three-goal, 31-disposal performance against Essendon has earned him seven coaches votes following Adelaide’s Friday night loss at Adelaide Oval.

The Crows went down by 21 points as utility Smith played an attacking role for the Crows, claiming 12 contested possessions and covering plenty of ground with 604 metres gained.

His three goals was a career-best haul.

Brad Crouch received one vote after he collected a game-high 35 possessions and nine clearances.

Crouch now has 51 votes for the season and is the Club leader, ranked 12th overall for the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year.

Reilly O’Brien rounded out the votes for Adelaide with one, after he tallied 39 hit-outs and a career-best 27 disposals.
