Crows Senior Coach Matthew Nicks says players will focus on goal kicking this pre-season to help fans cash in on a special promotion with the Club’s new Principal Partner.

As part of securing Hungry Jack’s as its partner, a free Whopper burger will be handed out for every Crows goal kicked during a home game from outside 50.

Supporters and members will be offered a free “Whopper Goal” voucher and, to claim the voucher, they must download and register for the Hungry Jack’s App.

Nicks hoped the players would boot plenty of long bombs in 2022 to secure wins on and off the field.

“I think it’s exciting,” Nicks said.

“We’ve already started talking to some of our players about the opportunities to give back to our members and supporters and give back to the community.

“We are working on kicking goals from outside 50.

“Brodie (Smith) does that every week, so we won’t have to do anything with him but I know Paul Seedsman is pretty keen for you to talk about him as well.

“I can promise that we’ll be doing everything we can to give them a free Whopper.”

Hungry Jack’s will play a part in Adelaide’s AFL, AFLW and SANFL sides, while also continuing its long partnership with West Coast.

“I can promise that we’ll be doing everything we can to give them a free Whopper.

Nicks reckons the two Clubs will need to organise a new name for the battle between them.

“We (the Crows and West Coast) haven’t got together as yet,” Nicks said.

“But I know Simmo (Eagles coach Adam Simpson) is a massive fan of Hungry Jacks as well.

“I’m sure we will do something around that game but as long as we kick more goals or score more points in the end, I’ll be reasonably pleased.”

Hungry Jack’s State Manager SA George Chrisan was looking forward to seeing plenty of goals kicked from outside 50 next season.

“We are hoping we are going to give away more than a million Whoppers,” Chrisan said.

“I hear that Brodie Smith can kick outside 50 and we are hoping he kicks a couple every week.

“If the Crows are winning, Hungry Jacks is winning.”
