On this week’s episode of Crows Chat, Adelaide defender Nick Murray went in depth on the surreal experience of revealing to his brother Toby that he would be making his AFL debut.

Murray joined hosts Noffy (AFLW co-captain Ebony Marinoff) and Thomo (Triple M’s Mark Thomas) in studio for a sit-down chat to begin the new season of the revamped podcast.

The 25-year-old said it was rewarding to see his brother fulfill his dream and be part of his journey as a footballer.

“It obviously means a lot for the family and the Ibis (Toby) himself, and to be able to announce that to him was very special,” Murray said.

“It’s not something that I thought would ever happen to be honest (playing an AFL game with my brother), you reflect back to 15 years ago and I’m playing footy in the back yard with him and our other two brothers."
