Four Crows will make their return to the side in the Round Five clash against Carlton.

Adelaide will make four changes against the Blues, with skipper Chelsea Randall ruled out due to injury.

Stevie-Lee Thompson, Danielle Ponter and Justine Mules will line up for Adelaide after missing last week’s game under the AFL Health and Safety Protocols.

Hannah Munyard also returns to the side.

Teah Charlton will miss Sunday’s game under the AFL Health and Safety Protocols while Jasmine Simmons and Abbie Ballard have been omitted.

AFLW Senior Coah Matthew Clarke said selection remained challenging but believe the Crows would have their best side for the job against Carlton.

“Selection is really challenging this season… one of the most pleasing aspects of last week’s performance was that players who came in grabbed that (opportunity) and played really well,” Clarke said.

“But ultimately you’ve just got to make the calls that we believe are right for the team against this particular opponent.

“(Carlton will) be desperate to get their season going… they’re going to be at their best and they’ve got talent so that’s a dangerous combination.

“Some of their offence and their kicking skills are really high-end and on a big deck that poses a big threat, so we’ll be ready for the challenge.”

Adelaide takes on Carlton at Ikon Park (VIC) on  Sunday 6 February, with first bounce at 2.40pm (ACDT).
