Adelaide has named an extended 26-man squad for its Round Eight clash with Carlton at Marvel Stadium on Sunday.

The Club has named seven inclusions to the squad, including Harry Schoenberg who served as the medical substitute against GWS in Round Seven.

Will Hamill has been named at half-back for his first game of 2022, alongside Mitch Hinge who will line up on the wing.

Ben Davis, Jake Soligo, Luke Pedlar, James Rowe and Schoenberg have all been listed on the extended eight-man bench.

Ned McHenry and Brodie Smith both miss Round Eight due to the AFL’s concussion protocols.

Experienced midfielder Matt Crouch has been omitted.

“Understandably, after missing 12 months of football, Matt is still working back to his best,” Head of Football Adam Kelly said.

“Matt has been able to get the first seven games of the season at AFL level, which is a credit to the work he has put in, and this has given a clear picture on where he is at.

“He will go back to the SANFL and continue to build confidence and consistency as part of his progression.”

Adelaide will take on Carlton on Sunday at 4.10pm (ACST).
