Crows part-time photographer Ray Titus received an Order of Australia Medal in the Australia Day honours list.

Titus, a former photographer for The Advertiser, has worked with the Adelaide Football Club since he retired from the newspaper in 2011, providing Crows fans with inner sanctum photographs from match days.

Adelaide CEO Steven Trigg said Titus was a worthy recipient.

“Ray has always been a great friend of our football club but he also is highly regarded for his professionalism and skill,” Trigg said.

“We have appreciated his continued involvement with the team in recent seasons and we know our fans love Ray’s photos from inside the rooms, or from trips interstate.

“He’s been taking photos for nearly 60 years, that’s an amazing effort.”
