Adelaide AFLW Assistant Coach Marijana Randall (née Rajcic) will take maternity leave from her coaching role as she prepares to welcome her second child.
Speaking after the Crows’ last match for 2026 on Sunday, Randall said helping guide the next wave of talent at the club had been rewarding and she was grateful to have been involved.
“I love coaching, it’s the next best thing to playing,” the 37-year-old said.
“It’s been a privilege to be part of this program for the past four years.
“We’ve had a lot of change this year, lots of up and coming youngsters, but I’ve really enjoyed my time.”
Randall’s assistant coaching career started in 2023 after her retirement from AFLW following 50 games at the elite level.
She began as the team’s defensive coach, before taking care of the forwards this year.
The two-time Crows premiership player shares a son, Tomi, with wife and Crows great Chelsea Randall and said he was keen to take on the role of big brother.
“Tomi can’t wait, and we can’t wait to have another Randall join the family,” she said.
“I think he (Tomi) wants a baby sister, but we don’t know, so we’ll have to wait and see.”
