Adelaide ruckman Reilly O’Brien is now a two-time winner of the Phil Walsh Best Team Man Award.

O’Brien was announced as this year’s winner at Adelaide’s Club Champion Awards dinner on Saturday night.

The Best Team Man Award has been presented every year since the Club’s inaugural season.

It was renamed in 2015 in honour of the late Crows coach and recognises the Club’s most selfless player who lives and breathes ‘team-first’ - a staple mantra of Walsh.

O’Brien, who was also recognised for the same award in 2022, showed commitment to his teammates and the Club, ensuring he was a frontrunner for the Best Team Man.

The 28-year-old played 23 AFL games this past season and was ranked elite across the competition for average hit-outs to advantage (11.3) and hit-outs (38.6 per game).

He joins Crows two-time Premiership Captain Mark Bickley, Mark Ricciuto, Mark Stevens, Michael Doughty, Richard Douglas and Tom Lynch as multiple winners of the Best Team Man Award.
