Promising onballer Brodie Smith answers the tough questions in this quick Q&A for afc.com.au...

Describe coach Brenton Sanderson in a few words?

A big kid.

Who is the funniest player at the Club?

Matt Jaensch likes to play a few games and is pretty funny, but I think Scott Thompson is a pretty funny bloke too. He has a very dry sense of humour.

What is your nickname?

‘Smithers’ or ‘Waylon Smithers’. Just because of my surname.

What was your first job?

I worked in the deli at Foodland cleaning out all the meat scraps. Fair to say it wasn’t a great job.

Which teammate is least likely to shout you dinner?

Andy Otten. He’s pretty tight.

What is your favourite sport outside football?

Cricket. I played before I got drafted, but don’t get a chance to play too much anymore.

How would your teammates describe you?

Quiet. When I was first drafted to the club the boys called me ‘Humphrey’ after Humphrey Bear.
