Adelaide defender Nick Murray has returned to onfield running and is on track for a return in 3-4 weeks.
The 24-year-old underwent a successful arthroscope on his left knee in late April and continues to progress well in his rehabilitation.
“Nick Murray was running on ground this week (and) he’s feeling really good,” High Performance Manager Darren Burgess said.
“We anticipate he’ll be 3-4 weeks away. It’s really positive signs for Nick.”
Younger brother Toby Murray (ankle) will see the surgeon again this week with a view to return to running in a few weeks’ time.
“Toby is progressing through his strength (work) and doing a lot of off-leg work,” Burgess said.
“He’ll see the surgeon again this week and then we’ll hopefully get the all-clear for him to start running in a couple weeks’ time.”
Forward Lachlan Murphy is available to play after overcoming a minor hamstring tendon injury.
“Lachlan Murphy had an issue behind his knee, but he trained fully last week, he’s training this week and he’ll be available this weekend,” Burgess said.
