Adelaide Skipper Jordan Dawson has reclaimed top spot on the AFLCA Coaches’ Votes leaderboard after a best on ground performance in his side’s Round 11 win against West Coast.
The 28-year-old received a perfect 10 from the coaches after registering 27 disposals, 10 score involvements, nine tackles, eight clearances and two goals.
Dawson’s fourth 10-vote haul of the season moved him three votes clear of Geelong star Bailey Smith.
The Captain was one of seven Crows to poll against the Eagles.
Livewire forward Josh Rachele received six for an equal career-high five-goal haul.
A lively presence up forward, his impact wasn’t limited to the scoreboard, as he finished with 16 disposals, nine score involvements and six tackles.
Vice Captain Reilly O’Brien registered five votes for a complete performance in the ruck, which included 45 hit-outs, 18 disposals, 12 score involvements, four marks, four clearances and a goal.
Izak Rankine polled four votes for his efforts through the midfield and up forward, as he recorded 23 disposals, 10 score involvements, six clearances and a major.
Key forward Riley Thilthorpe and midfielder Sam Berry received two votes apiece.
Thilthorpe was instrumental forward of the ball, booting two goals, registering 10 score involvements and taking seven marks.
Berry recorded a career-high 26 disposals to go with his nine tackles, six marks and four clearances.
Defender Rory Laird rounded out the vote-getters with one after his equal game-high 27 disposals and 11 marks.
