Adelaide forward Josh Rachele will be available for selection in two to three weeks as he continues to recover from a knee injury.
The 22-year-old returned to running this week on the AlterG treadmill and is no longer required to wear a knee brace.
Rachele has not played since the Round 17 win over Melbourne when he suffered a Posterior Capsular tear along with a bone compression injury.
“Josh Rachele got some pleasing news from the surgeon yesterday,” Crows General Manager High Performance Darren Burgess said.
“He’s able to run on the AlterG (and) he’ll run on-field later this week.
“We’re anticipating a 2-3 week recovery process before he’s able to play.”
Forward Luke Pedlar missed Saturday night’s clash with Collingwood due to hamstring soreness and will not be available for selection against North Melbourne.
“Luke Pedlar had some hamstring soreness at the back end of main training last week,” Burgess said.
“As a result, he missed the game against Collingwood on the weekend.
“He’ll probably miss one more game and then be available after that.”
Young defender Max Michalanney is still on track to return to the side in the post-season.
“Max has progressed through his rehab, he’ll be available after the North Melbourne game,” Burgess said.
Like Pedlar and Michalanney, ruckman Lachlan McAndrew will also be unavailable for Round 24 but should be clear to play from next week.
Midfielder Matt Crouch was a late withdrawal from Saturday’s SANFL clash against Central District due to hip soreness.
“Matty Crouch is experiencing some ongoing hip pain,” Burgess said.
“He felt on the weekend he wouldn’t be able to produce some of his best efforts.
“We’ll continue to monitor that situation and hopefully he’ll be available as soon as possible.”
