Five Adelaide players have been recognised for standout seasons after being included in the 2025 AFL All-Australian squad.

The Crows have the equal most players selected in the 44-man squad, which was released on Tuesday, with Captain Jordan Dawson, defenders Josh Worrell and Mark Keane, as well as forwards Riley Thilthorpe and Izak Rankine named.

Dawson has enjoyed a stellar season leading the side for a third campaign, averaging 23.7 disposals, at 64 per cent efficiency, 9.8 contested possessions, 4.4 clearances, 7.6 tackles, 6.2 score involvements and 6.3 inside 50s.

The Skipper has also booted 17 goals from 23 games.

Worrell’s selection followed his decision to recommit to the Crows long-term and comes off the back of becoming a key pillar in Adelaide’s back six.

The 24-year-old has been in career-best form this season, averaging 20.3 disposals at 77 per cent disposal efficiency, 5.6 marks, 1.9 intercept marks, 3.5 spoils and 5.7 rebound 50s across 23 games.

Thilthorpe booted a career-high 55 goals across 23 games, while averaging 13.7 disposals at 67.1 per cent efficiency, 5.7 marks, 2.1 inside 50s, 6.7 score involvements, 1.9 contested marks and 2 tackles.

Keane has also been a mainstay in the Crows’ defence, playing 23 matches, averaging 14.6 disposals at 78.2 per cent efficiency, 4.5 marks, 2.5 intercept marks, 5.3 spoils and 4.6 rebound 50s.

Rankine was a standout in the forward half, booting 31 goals from 22 games.

He averaged 20.5 disposals at 61.3 per cent efficiency, four marks, 4.5 inside 50s, 6.6 score involvements, and 3.5 tackles.

The squad of 40 will be cut to a final 22 on Thursday night, as part of the 2025 AFL Awards.

If selected in the final team, it will be Dawson’s second All-Australian blazer after being named in the 2023 team, while it would be a maiden inclusion for Thilthorpe, Keane, Worrell and Rankine.
