Young Adelaide duo Zac Taylor and Hugh Bond will call West Lakes home beyond 2025 after both finalising contract extensions.

Taylor, 22, played a career-high 17 games in his fourth season at the Club and has extended until the end of 2026.

“I’m thrilled to be sticking around at the Crows,” Taylor said.

“Personally I’ve been really happy with my year, having played in most of the games and getting a run in finals footy.

“I know there’s plenty more growth still to come and I’m looking forward to taking the next step in 2026.”

Bond, 20, has signed on for two more years after showcasing his defensive prowess in 12 games over the past two seasons.

“I’m of course really glad the Club has backed me in for another two years,” Bond said.

“I’ve enjoyed a couple of runs in the team now and will be working as hard as I can this offseason to cement a spot in 2026.

“Adelaide is certainly where I want to be moving forward and I’m already looking forward to preseason kicking off.”

Crows GM List Management Justin Reid said he was excited to see what the pair could achieve moving forward.

“It’s been really pleasing to see the effort and work put in by both Zac and Hugh this season,” Reid said.

“Zac enjoyed a really strong run of games this year and has had to bide his time for a decent shot at AFL level.

“And Bondy is a terrific team-first player, always prioritising the needs of his coaches and teammates above all else.”
