Adelaide has made three changes for its Round Six clash against Gold Coast at People First Stadium.

Running defender Brooke Smith and second-year key forward Lily Tarlinton come in for their first matches of the 2025 AFLW season.

Recruit Hannah Ewings also returns to the line-up, making her first appearance since the Crows’ Round One loss to St Kilda.

The trio replace the injured Grace Kelly (calf), Chelsea Randall (concussion) and Caitlin Gould (wrist).

Adelaide Head of Women’s Football Phil Harper said it was exciting to see all three girls get an opportunity at AFLW level.

“First and foremost we believe that all our girls are doing a great job in the scrimmages, so we are confident that the girls coming in this week are in good form and will hit the ground running,” Harper said.

“Lily (Tarlinton) has been consistent as a forward with spurts in the ruck, so she gives us a bit of extra flexibility.

“Hannah (Ewings) played in Round One and has been consistent in the scrimmages, she’ll play predominantly as a forward for us.

“And then you’ve got Brooke Smith, who is a like-for-like replacement for Grace (Kelly) who will provide a lot of run and carry for us out of defence.”

The Crows will be looking to record their fourth win from six starts this weekend, as they travel north to take on the Suns.

Harper said the group was excited by the opportunity to get onto an AFL deck at People First Stadium and continue the good form they showed against Hawthorn last week.

“The oval is magnificent, the facilities are excellent and it is a big deck that will give us plenty of space to hopefully get our running game going,” Harper said.

“Gold Coast are a really good contested ball side, so we need to at least match it with them there to have a chance of winning, they are an improving side and have shown great promise the last couple of weeks.

“We think our team has gotten a little bit better every week, we’ve built nicely into the season and hopefully we can continue that on the Gold Coast this Sunday.”

Adelaide faces Gold Coast at People First Stadium on Sunday, with the first bounce at 4.35pm ACST.
