Adelaide would like to thank Jack Madgen for his on and off field contribution, as he prepares to move to Victoria to further his coaching career.

Madgen joined the Crows ahead of the 2023 season as their SANFL marquee player and he went on to captain the team for the past two seasons.

In total he played 53 SANFL games for the Club and he was named in this year’s SANFL Team of the Year.

He is also currently the Adelaide’s Boys Academies coach and an assistant coach for the Crows’ AFLW side.

Crows EGM Football Adam Kelly described Madgen as a player and coach who was passionate about team success and seeing others fulfil their potential.

“Jack has immersed himself in the Club fully and he’s given great service across the past three years,” Kelly said.

“There’s no doubt he has the skills, qualities and ambition for a successful career in coaching and we wish him, Heidi, Izzy and Spencer well.”

Madgen has committed to fulfilling his duties with Adelaide’s women’s team until the AFLW season is finished.
