Adelaide has added three players to an extended squad for its Round Seven clash against Sydney at Unley Oval on Sunday.

Grace Kelly has been named and is slated to make her return from a calf injury, after missing last weekend’s win against Gold Coast.

Adelaide Head of Women’s Football Phil Harper said Kelly had trained well and would likely feature in her 50th AFLW game this weekend.

“Grace had a scan on her calf and it didn’t show anything, therefore she’s trained all week, and she’s fine to go,” Harper said.

“It will be her 50th game, she’s played a few at West Coast, quite a few at St Kilda, and now a few with us, so 50 games is a great thing for her.

“I know she loves being here and playing alongside her sister, Niamh, again.”

Irish defender Kayleigh Cronin and recruit Christina Leuzzi join Kelly in the squad.

“Kayleigh played in the scrimmage last week and has had a great week on the training track,” Harper said.

“Christina played with the Eagles last year and she’s played quite a lot of our scrimmages, so is getting very close to selection.”

Three-time Premiership star Chelsea Randall will remain on the sidelines for a second week, after suffering delayed concussion symptoms.

Harper said there would be no risk taken when it came to Randall’s health.

“The doctors have said she’s progressing in the concussion protocols, but she’s not 100 per cent,” Harper said.

“We will always err on the side of caution for anyone who’s got any sort of concussion injury.”

The game will mark Co-Captain Ebony Marinoff’s 100th milestone, as well as the Club’s 100th AFLW match.

“The amount of work Ebony has put in to try and get better and be the best she can be is as good as I’ve seen any person put the time and effort into their game,” Harper said.

“It’s a great celebration, it’s an amazing effort to play 100 games in a row at any level, but there’s no secret she puts a lot of work in and that translates to on the field.”

Adelaide will name its final team of 21 on Friday at 4.30pm (ACST).

The Crows face the Swans at Unley Oval on Sunday at 2.35pm.
