Crows midfielder Brooke Boileau has been named the Round Seven Telstra AFLW Rising Star nominee for her standout performance against the Swans on Sunday at Unley Oval.

The 20-year-old played arguably her best game for the Club in the two-point win against Sydney, notching 17 disposals, six tackles, three intercept marks, five clearances and 20 pressure acts.

Now in her second season at the Crows since joining via the 2023 AFLW Draft, Boileau has featured in every game for Adelaide so far this season.

Adelaide AFLW Head of Football Phil Harper said the recognition was reward for effort for Boileau.

“Brooke always works extremely hard both in games and at training,” Harper said.

“She had a fantastic pre-season ahead of her second year in the comp and is really starting to reap the rewards for her dedication.

“This Rising Star nomination is a fitting accolade for not only the game on Sunday, but the season she’s putting together as a whole.”

Boileau is Adelaide’s first Rising Star nominee since Kiera Mueller in Round Seven, 2023.
