Adelaide is hopeful both Niamh Kelly and Chelsea Randall could clear the AFL’s concussion protocols in time for Sunday’s Elimination Final against St Kilda.
Crows Head of AFLW Phil Harper said both players needed to complete a full competitive training session this week before being cleared.
“The last step in the concussion protocols is to complete a full competitive training, which will happen on Thursday, and then they need to be symptom free for the next 24 hours, and if they are then they will be cleared to be selected,” he said.
“Therefore, both players are a TBC on the injury report, and our fingers are crossed they'll be right.
“If they get through training on Thursday, they'll be named in the extended squad, and then there'll be another 24 hours before we finalise the team on Friday.”
Injury list as of Tuesday, November 4:
Niam Kelly (concussion) - TBC
Chelsea Randall (concussion) - TBC
Georgia McKee (knee) - Season
