Adelaide has bolstered its SANFL list by announcing the signing of four new players ahead of the 2026 season.

The new faces are former South Adelaide Best and Fairest winner Joseph Haines, former Sturt League player James Richards, South Fremantle recruit Tom Bell and emerging country footballer Reuben Hill.

The four will join Kieran Strachan – the club’s first-ever 100-SANFL-game player – Blake Drury and Ned Atkinson who have all recommitted to Adelaide for the 2026 season.

Adelaide’s General Manager of Football Operations and Compliance, Tom Hurley, said the incoming talent would help the Club build on last season’s finals appearance.

“We now have four 100-game SANFL players on our Development Squad list in Strachan, Jay Boyle, Haines and Hugh Haysman,” Hurley said.

“This is the first time in the Club’s history we have such depth and experience to support our AFL-listed players.”

Hurley described Haines as a player who would bring experience, leadership, and defensive footy smarts.

“Joey has played 137 SANFL league games for the Panthers, is a two-time SANFL State representative and a four-time Team of the Year representative,” Hurley said.

“Success has followed him more recently, having become a back-to-back Division 1 premiership player in the Adelaide Footy League.”

Richards joins the Crows having played 35 SANFL league games for the Double Blues, including in the 2023 SANFL Grand Final.

“Like Haines, Richards' experience at SANFL level will complement the younger AFL-listed players,” Hurley said.

Bell – a 197cm key position player and former WA State Under-18s representative – will relocate to Adelaide from Western Australia to become the Crows second Talent Development player, alongside Ned Atkinson.

Meanwhile Hill, a reigning Mail Medallist, will join the Crows via the Great Flinders Football League.

Pre-season for the Crows SANFL Development Squad starts on Monday, December 1, before breaking for Christmas on December 17.
