Adelaide has secured a First Round draft pick in the 2025 Telstra AFLW Draft after finalising a multi-club trade deal that sees midfielder Brooke Boileau head to Carlton.

The Crows receive Brisbane’s Pick 17 in this year’s Draft and a future Third Round pick tied to Melbourne, with Boileau heading to Carlton and Adelaide’s future Second Round pick heading to Brisbane.

The trade means Adelaide heads into next week’s AFLW Draft with three First Round picks, after also securing Pick 4 from Gold Coast and Pick 13 from Essendon in earlier trades involving premiership player Anne Hatchard and key position player Zoe Prowse.

Boileau played 18 games for the Crows after being drafted at Pick 22 in the 2023 AFLW Draft.

She made her debut in 2024 and played every game for Adelaide this season.

Crows Head of AFLW Phil Harper said it was disappointing to see the 20-year-old depart, but the Club respected her decision to seek further opportunity with Carlton.

“We thank Brooke for her dedication and effort to the Crows over the past two seasons,” Harper said.

“She has been a much-loved teammate, but we respect her decision to look for further opportunity at the Blues and we wish her well as she furthers her football career.”

Adelaide now holds Picks 4, 13, 17, 39 and 60 in the 2025 Telstra AFLW Draft, which will be held on Monday, December 15.
