Strong and clean at the contest with good athleticism, Bown was selected as captain of 2025’s U18 All-Australian team and named Victoria Metro’s Most Valuable Player as the best and fairest U18 Girls National Championships overall. A prolific ball-winner and tireless worker, Bown averaged 28 disposals, six tackles, six clearances and five inside-50s for the Oakleigh Chargers this year on her way to winning the Chargers’ best and fairest and Talent League MVP.
Can also impact as a forward, highlights by her three-goal performance against the Sandringham Dragons. A member of the AFLW National Academy, she was named best on ground in the star-studded team’s game against the U23 All Stars in April.
