Former AFL ruckman Dan Gorringe was spotted at Adelaide’s West Lakes Headquarters on Wednesday, and looked to be pushing his case for a comeback.
Gorringe was seen on the oval decked out in pink Crows training gear going for goal from the boundary, in what seemed to be an attempt to capture Skipper Jordan Dawson’s attention.
Despite being the ripe old age of 33, he stuck to Adelaide’s younger brigade, taking a particular liking to Dan Curtin.
Onlookers suggested the sharing of a first name might bring the pair together.
Gorringe even stopped training at one point to shake Curtin’s hand and seemed to enjoy the interaction.
Will Dan Gorringe join the team in 2026? Probably not.
But at least he gave it his best shot.
