Crows forward Callum Ah Chee has been cleared of a serious injury, with scans confirming a low-grade strain in his right hamstring.

Ah Chee came off the ground during the AFL’s State of Origin match on Saturday after experiencing hamstring awareness late in the game.

Crows General Manager High Performance Ian McKeown said scans confirmed the forward would need to spend a short term on the sidelines, but he remained a chance to be fit for Round One.

“It’s unfortunate for Cal, but we’re optimistic about his chances of being ready to go for our Round One match against Collingwood,” McKeown said.
