Adelaide has unveiled a new-look clash guernsey for this season, returning to a white-based design for the first time since 2020.
The guernsey, which was launched on Wednesday night, features a clean white base across the shoulders and upper chest, creating a canvas for the Crows’ tri-coloured wing to wrap around the body.
Inspired by the Club’s logo, the wing represents the shape of the state, a reminder of how proudly the team carries South Australia with it wherever it plays.
Adelaide will wear the new clash guernsey for the first time in its Round One blockbuster match against Collingwood at the MCG on Saturday, March 14.
The Crows wore their first white clash guernsey from 2010-12, featuring the previous ‘new’ Crows logo style on the front (pictured below).
In 2013, an updated clash guernsey was unveiled with the ‘Murder of Crows’ design on the front representing flocks of Members and supporters flying together to support the team.
This was worn for two seasons.
The 2015 white-based clash guernsey featured claw marks on the front and back (pictured above).
From 2016-19, the white-based jumper had bands of red, gold and navy blue across the front middle.
The last white-based guernsey, which was worn in 2020, which is also pictured above, used the ‘We Fly as One’ Crow on a chevron shape blue, red and gold.
