Media identity Graeme Goodings has been re-elected to the Adelaide Football Club’s Board of Directors after polling the most member votes in this year’s independently run election.
Goodings, a former long-time Channel 7 journalist and news presenter who can now be heard on Adelaide radio, has been elected for a third term.
He claimed 65 percent of the total vote, with the CorpVote-run election involving an online ballot.
“An important part of my role on the Board is being a voice for the members and fans, it’s a responsibility I take very seriously and I’m humbled to have been given another opportunity to serve our Club,” Goodings said.
Crows Chair John Olsen congratulated Goodings and thanked the three other candidates for their nominations and desire to contribute.
“The annual nominations and election process is a very important part of our governance structure and it gives our members an opportunity to have a say in how our Club operates,” he said.
Speaking at the Annual Members Meeting, Olsen also said current Directors Stephen Roche and Shanti Berggren have each had their tenures extended by three years.
Adelaide’s Board Directors are John Olsen (Chairman), Linda Fellows (Deputy Chair), Richard Fennell, Stephen Roche, Shanti Berggren, Imelda Lynch, Neil Balme, James Gallagher, Grant Stevens and Graeme Goodings.
