Two young Crows have further cemented their commitment to the Club by signing one-year deals that extend their current contracts to the end of 2027.

Midfielder Sarah Goodwin and utility Hannah Munyard - both of whom are known for their speed and agility - said they were keen to re-sign with the team entering a new era under Coach Ryan Davis and incoming Executive General Manager AFLW Bree Brock.

Goodwin enjoyed a stellar 2025 season, finishing fourth in the Club Champion count and named in the AFL Player Association’s 22Under22 side.

The 21-year-old played all 14 games last year, including two finals, over which she averaged a career-best 18.2 disposals, 4.6 tackles and 213 metres gained.

Her Round 12 outing against Fremantle at Norwood Oval was particularly superb, garnering her top career performances in key statistical measures including metres gained (427m), kicks (14) and tackles (11).

Drafted by Port Adelaide as an attacking defender at Pick No.7 in 2022 ahead of Season Seven, Goodwin was traded to the Crows after her debut year having played five games for the Power.

The 168cm utility has now played 41 games in Crows colours across three seasons, and said she was thrilled to continue playing at the Club for at least two more years.

“I have been loving my footy here at the Crows, I love my teammates and the direction the side is headed and you can feel a real sense of excitement around the place as we build up to pre-season this year,” she said.

“From a personal perspective, last season saw me take on more of a midfield role and I really enjoyed the challenges that came with that.

“So, looking forward, I just want to keep working to improve my footy and playing my role for the team.”

Traded to Adelaide from the Western Bulldogs in 2020, Munyard has played 45 games for the Crows across six seasons, including in the 2022 (Season Six) Premiership, also being awarded the AFLW Goal of the Year in 2024 for a crafty running checkside major.

The 24-year-old had an interrupted AFLW season last year after she broke her ankle in Round One, requiring surgery, which sidelined her for 10 weeks.

Already contracted for the 2026 season, Munyard said she wanted to put pen to paper for an additional year because she was excited to be a part of the new era at the Club.

“After my injury prevented me from returning to the top level last year, I’m looking forward to training hard in the pre-season to cement my spot back in the team in the upcoming season and beyond,” she said.

“I love my teammates and not being able to play a full game of AFLW with them in 2025, has fuelled the fire of my return.”

Crows incumbent Head of AFLW Phil Harper said both players were much-loved among the group and added speed and excitement to Adelaide’s list.

“Sarah is coming off the back of arguably a career-best season and we’re excited to see where she can take her football in the future,” he said.

“She is a hard-worker who prioritises making her teammates better and she makes our team better with her on- and off-field presence.

“And with Hannah, it was hard to watch her go down to that awful injury last year especially after she’d put together a great pre-season, but we were all inspired by the resilience shown in her return.

“With another six or eight months under her belt, we have no doubt she will hit the ground running come pre-season in May.”
