Board Director election

Nominations are now open for eligible candidates to stand for election to the Adelaide Football Club’s Board of Directors.

There is one vacant position and those interested must meet a range of criteria including being a Member for at least the past two years.

Nominations are being called from January 11 to January 29 with the vacancy created by current Board Director Mark Ricciuto transitioning from a Member-elected to Board-appointed position.

To be eligible to vote, you must be a financial Member who has access to not less than three Crows home or away matches in a given season or a Captain’s Club or Gold Member.

The process, including an online ballot if required, will once again be independently run by CorpVote.

Crows CEO Andrew Fagan urged talented prospective candidates to come forward and showcase their skills, qualities and relevant Board-related experience.

“Our Club is in great shape and well placed to deal with the challenges presented by an ultra-competitive and evolving elite sporting landscape,” Fagan said.

“We have experienced significant growth across all parts of the organisation in recent years and delivered on our strategic agenda which has included diversification, such as the acquisition of baseball and esports franchises.

Importantly, we have strong AFL and AFLW playing lists, coupled with committed and talented coaching groups, so there is plenty for fans to be excited about ahead of the respective seasons.

“The successful candidate will play a significant role in building on the foundation already laid and shaping the Club’s future path towards the ultimate success we all crave.”

The public announcement of the election result will be made at the Annual Club Members Meeting on February 28.
