Crows co-captain Taylor Walker will wear a suit everyday this week after losing a bet to Matt and Brad Crouch.

Speaking on Triple M’s Roo & Ditts, Walker revealed his race horse ran against the Crouch brothers’ horse on the weekend and lost.

“The rule was a carton of beer and wear a suit for the week, whoever lost,” Walker said.

“Luckily we had yesterday off and tomorrow off, we’re only in today, Thursday and Friday.”

Adelaide secured a come from behind victory over the Demons on Saturday night in a match the key forward described as a “tale of two halves”.

“They were flying in the first half,” he said.

“In the second half we were able to play some good footy, we won a bit more of the contest and were able to slow them down.

“They kicked one goal and 11 points in the second half, most of those were pressured, some were easy.

“But that’s footy.”

Carlton coach Brendon Bolton was sacked on Monday, becoming the second coach to lose their position this season - following Brad Scott for North Melbourne.

Former Adelaide assistant coach David Teague was named as caretaker for the rest of the season.

“It’s good for David Teague - as a forward footy coach, he’s one of the best I’ve ever had,” Walker said.

“Clearly those two clubs have made the call, I think if you go for another period of time with coaches who aren’t the right people you potentially lose your players.

“At the end of the day, there’s a human on the end of that sacking… I found it quite sad.”
