Adelaide has made three changes to its side set to face Carlton this Saturday at the MCG.

The Crows have included Tyson Stengle, who has earned his senior recall after kicking three goals in his Club debut against Gold Coast a fortnight ago.

Patrick Wilson and Andy Otten have also been named, with the pair both set to play their first senior games of 2019.

Wilson, Adelaide’s 2018 SANFL Club Champion, has averaged 27 disposals, seven marks, six tackles and five clearances per game this season in the State League.

OPPO: Carlton ruckman to miss

Meantime, Otten has averaged 20 disposals at 82 per cent efficiency to go with 6.8 marks and 5.1 rebound 50s per game.

“Quite simply, the three guys coming into the team are being rewarded for strong and consistent performances in the SANFL," coach Don Pyke said.

Forward Eddie Betts has been omitted and will play for the SANFL Crows this weekend.

“Unfortunately Eddie has not been able to deliver his usual consistency of performance to which we have become accustomed," Pyke said.

“We know that at his best he brings high energy, high impact and hits the scoreboard in games, and unfortunately and frustratingly we have not seen that regularly this season."

“Eddie will play in the SANFL this weekend with a view to recapture his best form.”

SANFL: Eight inclusions to side

Hugh Greenwood (omitted) and Alex Keath (managed) also go out of the side.

“Alex has been carrying an ankle injury and has not been able to take part in our main football sessions in the past month," Pyke said.

“We could push him to play but decided that in the interests of giving him the best chance to finish the year strongly, we need to give him a rest.”

Adelaide will take on Carlton at the MCG from 2.10pm AEST on Saturday.

The game will be broadcast live on Fox Footy from 1.30pm ACST and a delayed telecast will be on Channel 7 Adelaide from 4.25pm ACST.

The SANFL Crows face ladder leaders Glenelg on Saturday from 1.20pm local time at ACH Group Stadium.
