Kuwarna has made two changes to its team ahead of its Sir Doug Nicholls Round match against North Melbourne at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon.
Defender Jordon Butts returns to the team after recovering from an adductor strain sustained during the Showdown win a fortnight ago.
Executive General Manager Football Adam Kelly said Butts had progressed strongly throughout the week, giving the coaching cohort confidence in his selection.
“Jordon advanced quickly from a minor adductor injury he sustained in the Showdown to make himself available this week,” Kelly said.
“As we have seen across his career, with some real highlight games in 2026, he can reliably negate opposition key forwards, and we love it when he gets assertive, especially in aerial contests.”
Forward Darcy Fogarty is also back in the side, following his recovery from a back injury, which had kept him out of the AFL team since Round Four.
Fogarty’s inclusion comes after he successfully navigated a return to competitive football with the Club’s SANFL side last weekend, where he booted a team-high three goals.
“It is great to be able to bring Darcy back into the team this week,” Kelly said.
“Fog is not only an important member of our forwards group, but a strong leader within the team.
“That was on show last week at SANFL level and we have celebrated that through this week.”
Nick Murray and Hugh Bond have been omitted, with the pair named on the emergency list alongside Luke Nankervis.
To celebrate and honour Sir Doug Nicholls Round, the Club will again be known as Kuwarna, the Kaurna translation for the word Crows.
Players will also wear a special guernsey, designed by defender Wayne Milera, which details a reflection of his story, brought to life through symbols that trace both his football beginnings and cultural identity.
There will be plenty happening before, during and after the match, with everything fans need to know in the Club’s game day guide here.
Kuwarna faces North Melbourne at Adelaide Oval on Saturday at 12.45pm.
