Adelaide defender Mark Keane will make his long-awaited return to competitive football in the Crows’ SANFL clash against South Adelaide at Noarlunga on Saturday afternoon.

Keane has been named in the team after successfully rehabbing a fractured ankle, a broken tibia/fibula, and a syndesmosis injury sustained during match simulation in January.

Keane will be joined in the team by fellow AFL players Mitch Hinge, Archie Ludowyke, Mitchell Marsh, Nick Murray, Lachlan Sholl, Charlie Edwards, Oscar Ryan, Chayce Jones, Finnbar Maley, Hugh Bond, Luke Pedlar, Indy Cotton, Reilly O’Brien and Billy Dowling.

SANFL-listed players included in the team are Jay Boyle, Blake Drury, Cam Taheny, Ned Atkinson, Tom Bell, Jaxon Bennett, Harry Boyle, Will Crane, Joseph Haines, and Tate Coleman.

Skipper Kieran Strachan will miss the game due to injury.

Adelaide’s SANFL team is back in action this weekend after a bye and will be looking to follow on from its win against reigning premier Glenelg a fortnight ago.

The Crows face South Adelaide at Magain Stadium (Noarlunga Oval) on Saturday at 2.10pm.

South Adelaide is offering free entry to the game for all fans.

The match will be broadcast live on Channel 7 Adelaide.
