Crows forward has been charged by the MRO

The Match Review Officer handed down the findings on Friday afternoon.

Adelaide forward Josh Rachele has been charged by the Match Review Officer for striking during the Crows’ match against the Western Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium on Thursday night.

Rachele was cited for an incident involving Bulldogs defender Michael Sellwood in the third quarter.

The striking (first offence) carries a fixed-financial sanction of $1500, which can be downgraded to $1000 with an early plea.

Rachele will be free to line-up in Adelaide’s Round 15 match against Melbourne at Adelaide Oval next Saturday afternoon.
