Adelaide forward Luke Pedlar will miss the next three to four weeks after suffering a hamstring strain against the Western Bulldogs on Thursday night.

Pedlar came from the ground in the second quarter and did not return, subsequently undergoing scans to confirm the extent of the injury.

“Scans have confirmed a moderate grade hamstring strain for Peds,” Crows General Manager High Performance Ian McKeown said.

Izak Rankine is likely to be available for selection after an additional week off to rehab a calf strain.

“Izak is feeling really good at the moment,” McKeown said.

“We chose not to risk him for the game against the Western Bulldogs and he will just need to get through training tomorrow unphased in order to be available.”

Defender Mitch Hinge, however, will miss another week with ankle soreness.

“Mitch’s ankle is recovering, however he is still sore,” McKeown said.

“This weekend will likely be too soon for a return for him.”
