Adelaide could have an additional four players available for selection this week as the Club’s injury list shrinks to just two.
Defensive trio Isaac Cumming, Mitch Hinge and Jordon Butts will all be a test ahead of Saturday night’s clash with Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.
“Pleasingly it looks like Isaac, Mitch and Jordon could all put their hands up for selection this weekend,” Crows General Manager High Performance Ian McKeown said.
“All three will need to clear main training, however their progress has been very positive.
“Isaac might have been a long shot for last weekend, but a conscious decision was made to push him harder in training and ensure he was in the best position possible for the back half of the season.
“It’s a credit to him as well, his diligence and desire to prioritise his long-term recovery will hopefully hold him in good stead moving forward.”
Young forward Tyler Welsh will also be a test after recovering well from a hamstring strain.
“Tyler has recovered extremely well and could be available this weekend pending training,” McKeown said.
