Adelaide forward Tyler Welsh will return to the footy this weekend after successfully overcoming a hamstring injury.
Welsh has been named in the Crows’ side to take on Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon, marking his return to action after sustaining a hamstring injury at training earlier this month.
The 19-year-old will be joined in the squad by fellow AFL-listed players Mitch Hinge, Mitchell Marsh, Archie Ludowyke, Toby Murray, Chayce Jones, Charlie Edwards, Lachlan Sholl, Hugh Bond, Indy Cotton, Oscar Ryan, Reilly O’Brien, and Sid Draper.
SANFL-listed players included in the squad are Kieran Strachan, Jay Boyle, Blake Drury, Cam Taheny, Tom Bell, Ned Atkinson, Harry Boyle, Will Crane, Joseph Haines, Dayne McGary, and Jay O’Leary.
The Crows will be eyeing atonement when they face Port Adelaide in this weekend’s SANFL Showdown after going down by 20 points in the earlier clash in Round Five.
Adelaide takes on Port Adelaide in the SANFL Showdown at Adelaide Oval at 3.10pm, with the match to be broadcast live on Channel 7 Adelaide.
The game will act as a curtain raiser to the AFL Showdown between the crosstown rivals, with that match starting at 7.05pm.
AFL emergencies will be added to the SANFL squad.
