Adelaide midfielder Izak Rankine will likely be available to face West Coast this weekend in Perth.
The 26-year-old left the ground in the first quarter on Saturday night with concerns for both his ankle and knee.
Thankfully, Rankine was able to return following assessment and played out the game.
“It’s a big sigh of relief for Izak,” Crows General Manager High Performance Ian McKeown said.
“We assessed both his ankle and knee on the night and, pleasingly, he was in a position to return.
“We’ll monitor him throughout the week, however we’re confident he’ll be available for Friday night.”
Defender Mitch Hinge suffered a minor hamstring strain in Saturday’s SANFL win over Port Adelaide.
Hinge left the ground in the third quarter and did not return.
“It’s unfortunate news for Hingey with scans confirming there is a low grade hamstring strain,” McKeown said.
“We’re still working through exact timelines on a return; however he’ll miss a few weeks now at least with his rehabilitation already underway.”
Fellow defender Wayne Milera has been ruled out of Friday’s clash with the Eagles, also with a minor hamstring strain.
“It’s a better prognosis for Junior and we’re hopeful he’ll be available next weekend to face Gold Coast,” McKeown said.
