Triple Crows Premiership star Chelsea Randall announced her retirement from the AFLW on Monday, effective immediately.
Randall, a pioneer of women's footy, played 80 games and leaves the competition with five All-Australian blazers and six Most Courageous Player Awards, plus three flags.
To celebrate Randall's legacy, we reflect one some the former Captain's most memorable moments as a Crow.
2022 (S7) Showdown v Port Adelaide
The historic first AFLW Showdown quickly turned into the Chelsea Randall show.
The inspirational Captain made her mark early, booting the first two goals to spark the 8.15 (63) to 0.3 (3) demolition at Adelaide Oval.
Randall won the inaugural AFLW Showdown Medal, collecting a career-high 27 disposals with three goals, nine score involvements and seven clearances.

2017 Grand Final v Brisbane
It wasn’t one of Randall’s biggest games for possessions but her role in the inaugural AFLW grand final was crucial to Adelaide’s six-point win at Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast.
The Co-Captain was sent to full-back to stand Lions star Tayla Harris and had 16 disposals and ten intercept possessions, all while shutting down Harris, who kicked one last-quarter goal from three disposals.
Best-on-ground medallist Erin Phillips and Randall both received top votes in the Club Champion award.

R4 2018 v GWS
In the season that Randall was named Captain of the All-Australian team and won Adelaide’s Club Champion award, she was regularly high among her side's best.
and her experience was on show in the wet at Blacktown International Sports Park, in the first ever AFLW draw.
Randall collected 15 disposals and six tackles and, according to the coaches, was the equal-best player on the ground.
R5 2019 v North Melbourne
Adelaide confirmed its Premiership credentials with a stunning 35-point win against previously unbeaten North Melbourne at Melbourne Avalon Airport Oval.
Randall was outstanding with 23 disposals, seven marks and 13 interceptions to receive the maximum Club Champion votes.
R1 2021 v West Coast
After missing the 2020 season recovering from a knee reconstruction, Randall bounced back in her return game against West Coast at Perth’s Lathlain Park.
She had 19 disposals in the 38-point win and picked up two votes from the umpires.
Round 2 2025 v Geelong
Randall celebrated her 75th AFLW game by kicking three second-half goals in Adelaide’s come-from-behind win against Geelong at Unley Oval.

Adelaide had kicked only one goal in the first half to trail by 11 points at half-time but then booted the next nine goals of the match to win by 38 points.
In her first game of the season 2025 season, Randall had 11 disposals but her impact on the flow of the game was recognised with three votes from the umpires.
