A trio of Crows could stake their claim for selection this week after overcoming hamstring injuries.

Wayne Milera, Callum Ah Chee and Luke Pedlar will need to pass training in the coming days however, if successful, will be available to play this weekend.

Crows General Manager High Performance Ian McKeown said it was welcome news for the team.

“Junior had a very low level strain, he could have pushed to play last weekend but we wanted to give him another week to ensure he was fully recovered,” McKeown said.

“Peds’ strain was the most significant of the three and it’s a credit to him returning this early, he’s been extremely diligent in his rehabilitation.

“We’ll monitor all three as the week progresses but at this stage we expect them to be available for selection this weekend.”

Mitch Hinge, meanwhile, will miss the next three to four weeks due to a hamstring strain suffered against Port Adelaide’s SANFL side in Round 12.

“As expected, Hingey will miss some footy,” McKeown said.

“He’s had a difficult run of injuries this year however we know his professional attitude and commitment to his rehab will have him out the other side of this in the best way possible.”

Key forward Riley Thilthorpe missed Friday night’s game against the Eagles as a late out due to illness.

He is expected to be available for selection this weekend.
