The road to 699 goals for Taylor Walker as been filled with unforgettable moments, and few players have delivered more clutch goals than the Crows great.

As the 36-year-old prepares to join an exclusive club of forwards who have kicked 700 AFL goals, take a look back at some of Adelaide no.13's most memorable goals - 13 to be exact.

2012, Semi-final v Fremantle

Fremantle dominated most of the first half but it was Taylor Walker who gave the Crows hope after the half-time siren with a team-lifting goal from the AAMI Stadium pocket. His inspirational goal was followed by two more early in the third quarter to reduce the margin to one point.

The then 22-year-old went on to kick five goals in the win.

2012, Preliminary Final v Hawthorn

A week after the semi-final heroics, Walker repeated his half-time show at the MCG. Adelaide trailed Hawthorn by one point at the MCG when Walker marked a pass from Richard Douglas on the 50m arc, moments before the half-time siren sounded. His kick from about 55 metres snuck inside the right goal post.

2015, Elimination Final v Western Bulldogs

Walker’s late run and pass to Charlie Cameron for the winning goal is iconic but he was also calm under pressure a few minutes earlier, when he was on the end of a short pass from Cameron. His set shot from 50 metres out reduced the margin to one point with nine minutes to play.

Round 10, 2021 v Melbourne

Walker out positioned Melbourne’s Steven May to mark Rory Sloane’s quick kick forward when Adelaide trailed by five points late in the final quarter. Walker’s third goal, from 35 metres out at the northern end of Adelaide Oval, gave the Crows the lead against the previously unbeaten Melbourne, with 45 seconds left on the clock. 

Round 5, 2012 v Port Adelaide

Port Adelaide led Showdown 32 by three points at three-quarter-time but Adelaide kicked clear with four consecutive goals in the final term at AAMI Stadium. With ten minutes to play Walker won a one-on-one contest with Troy Chaplin and kicked his fifth goal to give the Crows an 18-point lead. He kicked another goal two minutes later, after a 50 metre penalty, and earlier booted three goals in three minutes in the second term.

Round 9, 2010 v Brisbane

Adelaide led by one point at the last break and it was Walker who kicked the first goal of the final quarter after only 18 seconds. In his 20^th AFL game, Walker marked a centre clearance and confidently took his shot from a couple of metres inside the centre square.  He kicked another goal, this time on his left foot, six minutes later.

Round 5, 2018 v Sydney

Sydney superstar Lance Franklin underestimated Walker’s long-range kicking ability at the SCG. Two minutes after Franklin had launched his own massive goal from inside the centre square he offered Walker some advice when he was lining up from a similar distance. Walker’s shot landed over the fence and gave the Crows a 17-point lead in the second term.

Round 13, 2015 v Brisbane

Adelaide staged a remarkable last-quarter comeback at the Gabba and it was Walker who kicked the fifth of a run of six consecutive goals to give the Crows the lead. Patrick Dangerfield won the centre clearance, found Walker on the lead and he kicked the goal from near the edge of the centre square. 

Round 3, 2017 v Port Adelaide

Ten minutes after Walker goaled from the 50m arc to hand the Crows a 12-point lead in the last quarter, the captain topped this effort with only four minutes to play. He marked about 65 metres out, immediately played on to his right side and booted his fourth goal of Showdown 42 to seal the win.

Round 6, 2022 v Western Bulldogs

After kicking his 500th career goal earlier in the game in Ballarat, Walker sealed the surprise win over the 2021 grand finalists with a difficult set shot from a tight angle with two minutes remaining. The Western Bulldogs cut the gap to one point with seven seconds to play but Adelaide held on.  

Round 21, 2025 v Hawthorn

Izak Rankine regained the lead for the Crows with a difficult snap goal late in the clash at Adelaide Oval and then two minutes later cleverly weaved out of trouble to pass to Walker on the 50m line. This long goal was soon followed by another to Walker from the scoreboard pocket.

Round 3, 2021 v Gold Coast

Walker continued his hot start to the 2021 season with six goals against the Suns at Adelaide Oval, including the shot that gave the Crows the lead with seven minutes to play. Walker read the flight of a long entry kick from Ben Keays better than his opponent and then nailed the set shot from 25 metres at the northern end.

Round 6 2026 v St Kilda

Adelaide was clinging to a one-point lead with only two minutes left when Ben Keays kicked long and deep into the forward line. Zac Taylor took the football off hands and handballed to Walker, who snapped his fifth goal on his left boot.
