Adelaide midfielder James Peatling will be a test ahead of Sunday’s Round 21 clash with Essendon at Marvel Stadium.
Peatling has been managing hip and groin soreness over the past two weeks.
Crows GM High Performance Ian McKeown said the Club would monitor his condition over the 10-day break.
“We’re lucky having an extended break between games which will give JP a better chance to recover,” McKeown said.
“We will monitor him throughout the week and assess if the time is right to give him an extra week to recover.”
Forward Luke Pedlar will miss the next six weeks with a hamstring strain suffered in the SANFL in Round 15.
“Peds has already begun his rehab albeit slowly considering the nature of the injury,” McKeown said.
“Althought it was a more severe hamstring injury, we’re confident he’ll make a full recovery.”
Experienced defender Mitch Hinge, meanwhile, will be available for selection this weekend.
“Hingey has recovered well from his hamstring strain and will likely have his hand up to play this weekend,” McKeown said.
“He’ll need to pass training, however we do not expect any complications.”
