Adelaide has confirmed two players will make their AFL debuts in the Crows’ clash against Essendon at Marvel Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Draftee Archie Ludowyke and third-year Crow Oscar Ryan will be named in the Crows’ Round 21 squad and are set to be given an opportunity to play their first senior game.

The Crows selected Ludowyke, a Sandringham Dragons product, with Pick No.50 in the 2025 Telstra AFL Draft, and after a string of consistent performances in the SANFL this season, the 18-year-old has earned a call-up.

Across 14 SANFL games, the forward has averaged 4.4 marks and booted 17 goals.

Ryan, meanwhile, was picked with Pick No.27 at the 2023 Telstra AFL Draft from the Murray Bushrangers.

The defender has featured in 42 SANFL games for the Crows across the past three seasons.

This year, he has averaged 19.6 disposals at 94 per cent efficiency, and four defensive rebounds per game.

Ludowyke and Ryan will become the 275th and 276th players respectively to represent the Adelaide Football Club when they make their debuts in the Crows’ match against the Bombers.

Adelaide will name its squad for the game on Thursday at 5.50pm (ACST), before a final team of 23 on Friday at 4.30pm (ACST).

The Crows face Essendon at Marvel Stadium on Sunday at 4.10pm (ACST), with the match to be broadcast live on Channel 7 Adelaide, Fox Footy and Kayo.
