Adelaide has made six changes for its Round 21 clash against Essendon at Marvel Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Forward Callum Ah Chee returns to the line-up for the first time since Round 12 after recovering from a hamstring injury.
The 28-year-old had featured in the Crows’ last two SANFL matches.
“After two games at SANFL level on return from injury, Cal makes his way back into the team,” Executive General Manager Football Adam Kelly said.
“He is a really important member of the team and it is great to have him back in for the closing month of the home and away season.”
Midfielder Billy Dowling also returns for his second AFL match of the season, and is set to offer valuable versatility to the side.
“Billy has been rock solid at SANFL level across the course of the season, certainly one of our most consistent performers,” Kelly said.
“He offers the team versatility, being able to play at half forward, as an inside mid or on the wing.”
As announced on Thursday afternoon, Archie Ludowyke and Oscar Ryan will make their AFL debuts against the Bombers.
Kelly said he was excited to see what the pair could bring at AFL level.
“Archie made an impression on us well before he set foot in the Club, we couldn’t believe our luck that he was available at pick No.50 in last year's draft and his reaction to being selected was one of our more memorable draft moments,” Kelly said.
“Archie is a real competitor, he likes to fly at the footy and fights to bring the ball to ground when he is not in a position to mark it. It’s that competitiveness that has won the respect of his team mates and earned the praise of our coaches.
“Oscar has put together a string of strong performances at SANFL level at half back, while his run and ability to get involved in offence has always been present in his game, it has been his attention to detail on the defensive aspects of his game that have impressed.
“He is a great young man who has worked hard since joining the Club and we are delighted that he has got his chance at AFL level.”
Mark Keane and Brayden Cook round out the inclusions, after missing last week’s clash against the Pies due to illness and management, respectively.
James Peatling (hip/groin), Sam Berry (foot) and Wayne Milera (hamstring) will miss the trip to Melbourne due to injury.
Toby Murray, Nick Murray and Finnbar Maley have been omitted.
The Crows take on Essendon at Marvel Stadium this Sunday afternoon, with the match to begin at 4.10pm (ACST).
Fans can watch the game live on Channel 7 Adelaide, Fox Footy and Kayo.
