A trio of Crows have finalised contract extensions ensuring they’ll continue to call Adelaide home beyond 2026.

Rebounding defender Hugo Hall-Kahan and utility Zac Taylor have finalised two year extensions, tying them to the Club until the end of 2028

Key forward Finnbar Maley has signed a one-year extension until the end of 2027.

Hall-Kahan joined the Crows just two months ago via the Mid-season Draft and has quickly become a mainstay on the half-back line.

The 22-year-old said he was thrilled to be extending his stay at the Crows.

“From being drafted to playing my first game in the space of a week was a whirlwind,” Hall-Kahan said.

“To now be here, two months or so later, signing on for an extra two years… I couldn’t be happier.”

Taylor, meanwhile, has become a staple of Matthew Nicks’ team each week, having featured in all but two games this season.

“Last year, I was really pleased to get a decent run of games in the AFL side,” Taylor said.

“There’s always such strong competition at AFL level so it was a big focus of mine to back that up this year and try and lock down a spot in the team.”

Up forward, Maley has featured in six games at AFL level, showcasing his strong marking ability and team-first ethos.

“I’ve really enjoyed my move across to South Australia and look forward to continuing on with the Club next season,” Maley said.

Crows General Manager List Management Jarryd Roughead said it was exciting news to have the three players recommit to the Club.

“To have Zac, Hugo and Finnbar sign on, it’s a great result for our footy club,” Roughead said.

“It’s easy to forget that just two months ago, Hugo was playing VFL… now he’s a regular in our team each week.

“Likewise, Zac is enjoying a great run of games and is averaging career-best numbers in disposals, inside 50s and scoring.

“Add in the marking threat of Finnbar up forward, who brings so much to this team both on and off the ground, and it’s a really pleasing result for us.”
