Adelaide has made six changes ahead of its blockbuster clash against ladder-leaders Fremantle at Optus Stadium on Friday night.
Defenders James Borlase and Luke Nankervis will return to the team after overcoming a hamstring and chest injury, respectively.
Ruckman Lachlan McAndrew and midfielder Jake Soligo have also come back in after being managed for last weekend’s game against Richmond.
"We took a conservative management approach with both James and Luke last week, both have grasped increased opportunity in 2026 and have played strong consistent footy,” Crows Executive General Manager Football Adam Kelly said.
“Lachie and Jake were both managed last week, having carried big loads in 2026.
“Lachie has been a warrior for us, week in, week out, holding down the number one ruck spot, and Jake has done a great job given the way in which his pre-season was compromised.”
Rounding out the inclusions are forwards Darcy Fogarty, who comes back into the line-up after missing the past three matches due to suspension, and Toby Murray.
Murray will play his first match since Round 20 against Collingwood.
Kelly said Fogarty and Murray added a different dimension to the Crows’ forward line.
“Darcy was in a rich vein of form prior to his three week suspension, (and) he is critically important to us,” Kelly said.
“He provides great leadership, a strong contest and is one of the game's very best finishers.
“Toby provides additional aerial presence forward of the ball and another option in the ruck.
“We anticipate that the aerial battle will be an important factor in the result of the game.”
Vice Captain Alex Neal-Bullen will miss the game against Fremantle due to personal reasons, while key forward Taylor Walker will be managed.
Archie Ludowyke, Oscar Ryan, Reilly O’Brien and Billy Dowling have been omitted.
Dowling has been named on the emergency list alongside Walker and Chayce Jones.
Adelaide faces Fremantle at Optus Stadium on Friday at 7.40pm (ACST time).
The game will be broadcast live on Channel 7 Adelaide, Fox Footy and Kayo.
