Kuwarna has made two changes for its Round Three clash against West Coast at Unley Oval on Saturday afternoon.
Irish forward Grace Kelly returns to the line-up after missing the first two matches with a hamstring injury.
Kuwarna Executive General Manager Women’s Football Bree Brock said Kelly would provide plenty of experience ahead of the ball.
“We are very excited to welcome Grace back into the team this week, she attacked her recovery really well and is in a great space to go out and impact for us on Saturday,” Brock said.
“She gives us great experience ahead of the ball, and her speed is a real weapon, so she will be a very welcomed addition for us.”
Second-year forward India Rasheed also returns for her first match of the season, after completing a conditioning block.
“India has been building nicely towards being match-ready and we are really happy with how she’s attacked her preparation” Brock said.
“Her performance in the scrimmage last week was a great indicator to us that she is ready and has earnt herself a spot in the team.”
Amy Boyle Carr and Brooke Tonon have been omitted.
Kuwarna returns to Unley Oval for its Round Three clash against Eagles, where it will wear the same First Nations guernsey the AFL team wore in Sir Doug Nicholls Round.
Brock said it was an honour to wear Wayne Milera’s design, and was excited to see another solid crowd at Unley.
“It’s very exciting to be back in front of our home crowd and celebrating Indigenous Round this weekend,” Brock said.
“To represent Wayne Milera’s guernsey design is an honour and we can’t wait to go out and do the Club proud.
“Our home fans really showed up for us in Round One and we can’t wait for a similar reception on Saturday afternoon.”
Kuwarna takes on West Coast at Unley Oval this Saturday afternoon, with the match to start at 2.05pm.
